The heat is on and preparations have started already with the 'organised left (called United Left) and other groups getting ready for battle.

But does this internal fighting help the ordinary Unison member? And is either of these groups good for us all? Who stands for what and what interests do they represent?

We have created this blog to post news and developments about issues and matters of interest to Unison activists and members in the London region. Front line Shop Stewards and Self Organised Group representatives. People who give up their time to help members at the work place. People who have the interests of members as their first priority.

The site (or blog as its called) will inform members of events and developments that are of interest and will invite comments and encourage constructive debates.
